James Rowe left King's Lynn Town last Wednesday with immediate effect, after an incident at the club's Lynnsport training ground in which he is understood to have been headbutted in front of his players.

It has now emerged he was arrested two days later on suspicion of two counts of sexual assault, alleged to have taken place at the club's Walks stadium earlier in the week.

The 42-year-old has been bailed while investigations continue.

The club has declined to comment on........
