Sedgeford Parish Council has complained to Anglian Water (AW) over the state of the Heacham River, whose source is near the village.

Part of the chalk stream that flows beneath Snettisham Road has again run dry, which locals believe has been caused by abstraction further upstream.

AW officials gave a presentation to councillors at a recent meeting.

Its minutes say: "Anglian Water has carried out substantial research into the issues impacting on the flow........
