Council set to block development where sewers can't cope
West Norfolk councillors have been told the authority is "likely" to heed opposition from AW to plans for new homes in areas where its treatment plants are at risk of being overwhelmed, or object to people moving into them until it has upgraded its network.
A report to full council, which meets on Thursday, says AW will object to new developments in areas served by its treatment works at Heacham, which is not expected to be upgraded until 2035.
