West Norfolk council has received plans to demolish the five-bedroom 1920s property on Wodehouse Road, at Old Hunstanton.

It would be replaced by a larger split-level property, with a separate studio next door.

A planning statement says the cost of modernising the existing house, which has been owned by the same family for 60 years would be more than that of a new-build.........
