Call for redesign of Norfolk village sign which locals say is 'quite frankly boring'
The 90-year-old carving on the green at Docking, near Hunstanton, is about to be taken down for repairs.
But Docking Heritage Group says it should be replaced with a more modern design that reflects the village in the 21st century.
Its secretary Helena Adliss told the parish council: "We are sorry to say it, but ours is quite frankly, boring; it is of a certain era and reflective of the design of the time.
