Bird flu quarantine facility could be built in Norfolk
The charity has applied for planning permission for the addition to its centre at East Winch, near King's Lynn.
Centre manager Evangelos Achilleos said: "The new bio-secure aviary will be a quarantine facility for any bird which arrives at East Winch.
"Its purpose will be to ensure newly admitted birds are quarantined, and not carrying any avian diseases, including bird flu, which is sadly untreatable.
