Anger after affordable homes dropped from new village housing scheme

Locals in Sedgeford, near Hunstanton, are have accused developers of going back on their word after instead submitting proposals for 20 "market properties" for sale on the site, because affordable homes would not be viable.

Parish councillors have now voted to object to the proposals and fired off a stiff response to West Norfolk Council, which will decide whether the scheme - that includes one and two-bed flats, along with two, three and four-bedroom houses - goes ahead.
