But a former smokehouse in Great Yarmouth has been transformed into a quirky maze of an antiques and vintage shop, the 'Loft Emporium', now complete with a new cafe called 'Mama Makes'.

Andy Field, owner of the Loft Emporium, opened the business on Middle Road West three years ago after deciding he "didn't want to be a mechanic anymore".

When he first opened the site, a year before the Herring Bridge was completed, it had four rooms full of antiques.

“I was running a nearby garage, and when the bridge was being created, I had a vision of opening a shop," Mr Field said.
