Norfolk pier gets a glitzy new look with eight-metre digital screen
Great Yarmouth’s Britannia Pier owners say they are “really pleased” with the change, calling it a key step in the attraction’s long-term transformation.
The project, which commenced last winter, will see the first phase of the site's £1.8m renovation completed, with the second phase to commence at the end of the pier this winter.

"We have had some delays, it was due to go up in April because, ideally, we wanted it up for the school holidays, which was annoying, but that was out of our control, so we had to be patient.
"Us owners, along with the council and the conservation officers, have all worked hard as a team to complete the final design so it could look in a way that everybody was happy with.
"We are pleased with the result, it has finished off the front of the pier, and it looks amazing."
