Rupert Lowe, MP for Great Yarmouth and member of Restore Britain, is calling for offshore detention and the mass deportation of all illegal migrants in the UK.

Its campaign has punched through 300,000 signatures in just over 48 hours after being launched on Monday morning.

The petition created by Mr Lowe calls on the government to establish offshore detention facilities to process and deport all illegal migrants.

He praised people in his constituency for signing the petition.

“Wonderful to see Great Yarmouth leading the way with support for mass deportations," Mr Lowe said.

"The capital of English common sense. We want the illegal migrants deported. Not some of them.

"Not most of them. All of them. I say send them home.........
