Great Yarmouth Borough Council's cabinet will discuss the sale of the Ocean Room, following an agreement in March to market the freehold of the building for sale.

Several bids have been received for the council-owned venue after the former much-loved nightclub was put up for sale following its closure more than two years ago.

The building's future was thrown into further doubt last month after campaign group Save the Ocean Room urged Great Yarmouth Borough Council (GYBC) to grant the art deco building in Gorleston extra protection as a "Community Asset", but this........
