'Dont worry, be happy' - Silenced market trader wins battle to play reggae music
However, in Great Yarmouth, the sound of the music genre which originated from Jamaica has provoked a council storm over loud music being played by a market stall owner.
Ivan Ammon, owner of Ki-Ki-Ri-Ki on the Great Yarmouth Market, had been told by the borough council that he wasn't allowed to play the music at his pitch anymore.
It came after one fellow trader had reported Mr Ammon to the council for cranking up the volume and causing a disturbance.
