£1.8m regeneration of Norfolk landmark nears completion
But now Britannia Pier is preparing for the latest chapter in its eventful history as a £1.8m renovation project nears completion.
Contractors started demolishing a building on the Great Yarmouth landmark in November, to make way for the new indoor entertainment centre, which is hoped to turn the seasonal hotspot into a year-round venue.
The plush new building is expected to be fully opened to the public, with one or two finishing touches remaining, by next weekend.
