Serious fire breaches discovered at hotel where guests were banned from sleeping
Fire safety officers from Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service had attended Brandon House Hotel in April of last year during renovation works and found that paying guests were staying there.
Previous checks of the property, which had found fire safety breaches, had led to officers banning anyone from sleeping at the hotel in High Street, Brandon, until refurbishment works were completed.
Protection officers from the fire service issued a prohibition notice to prevent anyone from sleeping at the premises and an enforcement notice........
