Locals in Lynfield Road had been told in two different letters by Anglian Water to save up a day's worth of water as their supply would be turned off for the company to carry out repair works.

However, according to those living in the area, workers have yet to begin their repairs.

Chris Potter said: "We had a letter in mid-January where they [Anglian Water] said they were going to close........
