Mona is a six-year-old crossbreed originally from Romania and was part of a group of 11 puppies that were rescued from the streets.

Mona had originally been rehomed with a family in Scotland, but was picked up by Safe Rescue for Dogs and brought to Norwich.

She is now looking for a loving new home in the region.

A spokeswoman for Safe Rescue for Dogs said: "Despite being a lovely family, they were not equipped to deal with such a traumatised dog.
