Hill Farm House is believed to date back over 400 years and was once two separate dwellings – including a former Methodist minister’s residence. It is described by selling agent Sowerbys as “a masterclass in sympathetic restoration”, combining a rich history with the conveniences of modern living.

Nods to its history are prevalent throughout the property, from original oak beams and flint and chalk walls to inglenook fireplaces and Victorian detailing.

The current owners have continued to update the four-bedroom house since moving in in 2006, with Sowerbys saying that it has been “thoughtfully enhanced in both form and function.”
