Cecil Amey, named after its founder and the current CEO Robert Amey’s grandfather, was founded in Norwich in 1924 and has remained in the same family for four generations.

Today the business is run by Robert and his wife Emma Amey, who also serves as operations and HR director, with their sons Dan and William, son-in-law Josh Newman, and daughter-in-law Cristina Amey also involved.

It has grown to include 13 branches across Norfolk and Suffolk, with teams providing clients with professional eye care and, more recently, fully integrated audiology services.
