Village pub to reopen as family owners take back control
The Anchor Inn, owned by the Temples for four decades, underwent months of refurbishment ahead of its much-anticipated return on Tuesday.
The family’s connection to the Morston pub stretches back more than 100 years, with Jim Temple’s aunt Doris running it in the 1960s, his grandmother Ann from 1934 to 1959, and Henry Temple from 1899.
