Town councillors raise concerns over major 550-home development
The development, which includes 550 homes on land west of Pine Tree Farm in Cromer, was discussed at a meeting of the town council’s planning committee on Tuesday evening.
While the scheme promises 192 affordable homes, a 100-bed care facility, sports pitches for the town’s football club and new allotments, councillors said key questions remain unanswered.
Cllr Tim Adams, leader of North Norfolk District Council, previously described the scheme as “the most significant planning application we have seen in anyone’s lifetime in Cromer”.
