Bacton Parish Council submitted the application earlier this year to North Norfolk District Council to convert The Pavilion in North Walsham Road.

The scheme includes the creation of a cafe and meeting space, as well as new toilet facilities for disabled people.

The proposed floor plan of the cafe (Image: Howes Designs/ NNDC) It is expected to create one full-time and four part-time jobs and the cafe will open daily from 9am to 8pm, selling food and drink mainly for consumption on site.

The pavilion has been largely unused........
