Byfords of Holt, the popular café, delicatessen and B&B in Shirehall Plain, has received the green light for a series of improvements to its roof and hotel rooms.

The approved plans include the addition of a new dormer window to Room 5, creating space for a larger bathroom and seating area, as well as the extension of the roof to build an enclosed plant room.
