Michael’s Bistro, tucked away in Franklyn’s Yard in Holt, opened its doors last July after Michael Carr, 35, and his partner Charlotte Taylor, 29, took on the former Il Calabrese restaurant site.

Mr Carr said: “We’ve been really busy, we're fully booked most nights.

“A lot of hospitality businesses close in the first year, so getting through that and seeing customers who keep coming back has been a real highlight."
