Denny Bros is an independent, employee-owned printing company that employs around 80 staff, predominantly at its production headquarters in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

The company has an overarching aim to become carbon neutral by 2030. It has reduced its carbon footprint by 65% in less than 15 years, achieving Carbon Charter Gold accreditation.

Denny Bros also acts as a business mentor to other companies looking to develop their sustainability programmes.

The judges said adopting sustainable approaches is “very much business as usual” for Denny Bros.

From installing heat pumps to engaging with staff, they said efforts have been made to normalise sustainability and keep improving.
