Huge steel structure installed for £4bn wind farm off coast of East Anglia

Weighing 3,700 tonnes and standing at 59 metres, the four-legged jacket foundation for Scottish Power Renewables’ £4billion East Anglia Three wind farm has now been fixed to the seabed at a depth of 36 metres.

Once operational at the end of 2026, up to 100 turbines will generate enough clean electricity to power more than one million homes.
