ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday distributed cheques worth Rs300 million among more than 500 affected people of four housing schemes in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The housing schemes were: Al-Haram City, Ghauri Town, Gulshan-i-Rahman and Arain City. The cheque distribution ceremony was held at the NAB headquarters and presided over by NAB Chairman retired Lt-Gen Nazir Ahmed.

In the first phase, billions of rupees had been recovered and distributed among the affected persons of these housing schemes. In the second phase on Tuesday, more checks were distributed among the victims. These schemes failed to deliver plots after receiving........
