Elissa Slotkin, a Michigan senator, has revealed that she is currently under investigation by federal prosecutors, the latest instance of the Trump administration’s targeting of a group of Democrats who urged members of the military to defy illegal orders.

In an interview with the New York Times published on Tuesday, Slotkin told the outlet that she learned about the investigation after the office of Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C., sought an interview with her or her personal attorney. Pirro’s office has yet to publicly comment on the reported probe.

Slotkin addressed the federal investigation in a video on social media, saying that it’s just the latest in a series of repercussions she’s experienced since making the video. The senator said that she has received credible threats against her life and her family since Trump called out her and fellow Democrats as “traitors.”
