GPs throughout England have consented to new contract changes designed to "bring back the family doctor" and put a stop to the "8am scramble" for appointments, as per Government claims. The British Medical Association (BMA), the doctors' union, and the Government reached this agreement on Thursday, which incorporates an additional £889 million in funding for 2025 to 2026.
