It is well past time to get people off the welfare rolls and on to the taxpayer rolls;

For the first 200 years of America’s existence, being a recipient of charity was viewed as shameful and humiliating. Any man who could not support himself and/or his family viewed himself as not being a man.

Then along came “The Great Society,” created by Democrats to allow the government to redistribute taxpayers’ wealth in any way the government wanted, and they called it welfare. As Democrats and government bureaucrats are wont to do, they tried to dream........
