There is one political truism we must always bow down to. Whether it is good or bad, depending on your perspective, America will always have the government it deserves. Whether you vote or don’t vote, you will get the government you deserve. If you get a government you don’t like, and you failed to vote, shame on you, but you did get the government you deserved.

If you did vote and got a government you don’t like, did you do everything you could have done to make sure you got the government you wanted? If not, shame on you, but you got the government you deserved. Although voting is the first and necessary action, We the People have a greater obligation to actively participate in the process. Sending money to your preferred candidate is just the starting point. More important, your time is needed more to deliver the message of your candidate.
