False bigotry against real bigotry only protects bigotry. If minorities commit crimes at a higher rate than whites, then their arrest rates will be higher. That is not racism or bigotry; that is reality.

According to LAPD data from 2019 to 2022, Black and Latino individuals represented over two-thirds (78.26 percent) of all arrests in Los Angeles, despite making up only 56 percent of the county's population.

Specifically, Latinos, who constitute 48 percent of the population, accounted for 51 percent of the arrests, while Black residents, who make up 8 percent of the population, represented 27 percent of the arrests. Additionally, Black and Latino youth comprise 65 percent of the county's youth population, yet they make up nearly all incarcerated youth.

When arrests are justified, no crime has been committed by those making the arrest. In the vast majority of cases, Innocent people are not arrested. In........
