Free school meals to be extended in child poverty lifeline - have your say
The government has revealed plans to extend the free school meals scheme to a greater number of UK children, commencing next year. At present, all children in England are eligible for free school meals until the conclusion of Year 2, but beyond that, they only qualify if their family receives certain benefits.
