Next stage plans for Waterbeach revealed but locals say 'sort the infrastructure'
Fresh plans have been unveiled for the Waterbeach Barracks development, with property giants Durkan Homes and Urban and Civic Waterbeach submitting a proposal to South Cambridgeshire District Council. Cambridgeshire Live readers are concerned about the increased strain on local infrastructure.
The plans lay out proposals for 198 new dwellings, along with a shop and a children's play park. This latest instalment is part of a grander vision passed in 2019, which greenlit the construction of up to 6,500 new homes on the periphery of Waterbeach.
