After this column, some comfy folks could be having a few toss-and-turn nights until city election results hit the street.

For one person wanting to be Calgary’s mayor, her message couldn’t be clearer to a select group of self-entitled individuals.

Shape up or ship out.

Sonya Sharp is in a neck-and-neck race with Jeromy Farkas and Jyoti Gondek to see who will be Calgary’s mayor after the dust finally settles Monday night.

Sharp worked at city hall for 20 years and minces no words this day.
