If you’re a regular on the Chiltern line, you’ll be pleased to hear that Chiltern Railways is set to replace its ageing 47-year-old carriages with 13 brand-new trains, complete with upgraded facilities for passengers. The first of these will roll out from early 2026. I’ve worked closely with Chiltern Railways and Transport Secretary, Heidi Alexander, to help make this happen.
