A lot of the council’s work rightly focusses on providing our day to day services for residents; whether that’s collecting bins, fixing streets or keeping our town centres clean and safe, writes the Conservative leader of Buckinghamshire Council Martin Tett.

But we also work hard on what the future of our county should look like, and I wanted to write about some of that work in more detail.

This week we’ve taken a series of key decisions all around various aspects of growth and prosperity in the county. This work is quite diverse as there are so many factors that go towards promoting and encouraging a healthy local economy – education, training, job........
