A few weeks ago, I wrote about my take on the exchange between the leader of Ukraine and our American leaders in the Oval Office. The take, essentially, was that regardless of how anyone feels about President Zelenskyy, President Trump and Vice President Vance disgraced our nation with their abhorrent behavior. I stand by that.

A reader wrote to thank me for my courage and perspectives. He said he didn't watch the meeting so couldn't comment on that, and that he "held his nose and voted for Trump" and does not justify the president's actions "good or bad." But what he wanted to talk to me about was Zelenskyy.

He then gave a list of bullet points, copied and pasted here:

Volodymyr Zelenskyy is no longer the duly elected president of Ukraine. His term as elected president has expired and he canceled elections. So he is in effect a dictator running the country.

Earlier this year, Zelenskyy admitted in an interview that half of U.S. aid to Ukraine is missing, stating, "I don't know where all the money is." This is astounding, as he is the point man for these billions of dollars that have been channeled to Ukraine.

Within European circles, it is widely known that Ukraine is the most corrupt nation on the continent, known for corruption and kickback schemes. I read from a credible source (U.S. Colonel Douglas Macgregor), that as much as 40 percent of the aid that goes to Ukraine never is used to support the war as much of it goes to Zelenskyy and his cronies, as well as kickbacks to politicians in the U.S. and our military equipment being sold on the black market. Macgregor stated that Zelenskyy's graft was so blatant that our CIA had to warn him to be more discrete.

Some of the military equipment that the U.S. sent to Ukraine has shown up in the Mexico drug cartels south of the U.S. border, obvious indications that they were sold on the international black market for military arms.

Zelenskyy has also purchased two or three large multi-million-dollar estates in other countries since his ascent from comedian to being president of Ukraine (no doubt courtesy of U.S. taxpayers).

In addition to not wearing a business suit when meeting with the president of the United States (an insult in diplomatic protocol, sort of like meeting the pope in a T-shirt), Zelenskyy signed a secret agreement with British prime minister........
