Fixation on president

I have been asked about TDS. A timely question. I'm not an expert, but have my opinions. The letters stand for Trump Derangement Syndrome. It appears to be a mental fixation appearing in mild and severe forms. Although not recognized as an official medical condition, it does seem to cause seemingly normal-thinking people to become irrational, leaving them unable to clearly understand President Donald Trump's policy positions.

Many American presidents have come and gone, some loved more than others. Most were respected for their position as what must be the hardest job in the world. I'm 86 years old and can honestly say I have never seen anything like TDS. President Trump has made some mistakes, but has done some good things while in office. People with TDS cannot or will not give him credit for doing anything good. I think that is sad. I know he is a bragger and has a potty mouth. I also see he has helped lift our country out of the mess he inherited. I'm a Republican who does not wear a MAGA cap or hate Clinton, Obama or Biden.

The Good Book tells us to love, not hate. People with TDS seem to hate Trump. I've got an idea: Why don't we all just lighten up, pray for our........
