Thank you to everyone who celebrated 20 years of Victoria’s Vital Signs at our launch event this month.
I was so pleased to see a full theatre of engaged community members eager to get their hands on our annual check-up’s latest edition. The event was jubilant — packed with marvelous guest speakers, a panel discussion on the profound impacts of Vital Signs, and a lookahead to the program’s future.
We had the pleasure of listening to long-time Métis broadcaster Shelagh Rogers give our keynote about the power of community-based research in uncovering our country’s residential school legacy, and from there, moving toward health and healing.
