Re: “Victoria changing streets to detriment of businesses,” commentary, July 30.
I have been meaning to write about driving in downtown Victoria; however, Bert Vermeer hit the nail on the head with his commentary.
How is a downtown motorist able to determine when a lane is suddenly blocked by parked cars when there is no sign at eye level advising us?
A sign is only on a short post hidden by the parked car.
Very perplexing and frustrating!

We have had nine years during which Justin Trudeau has been responsible for the deterioration of not only our standard of living but also the social fabric that holds the country together.
Now we see him dining with his new lady friend at one of Montreal’s finest restaurants, whilst more and more Canadians line up at food banks.
Enough already, please relegate this man to the back pages of the comics section; preferably no pages at all.
