READERS FORUM: All of us live in the political spectrum

I’ll admit, I’m a news junkie that likes being informed.
When I was younger it was 24/7 sports. Radio, TV, newspapers, local and out of town. Even read while driving. (Not recommended.)
Then, being able to vote and be (sort of) courted by political parties was strangely fascinating. Young politicians wanting to “change the world” or make a “difference” seemed so noble, so yay team!
Then, seemingly overnight, their moral compass went south. The question I’d love to ask all of them was simple. “What happened to you?”
If you think politics doesn’t touch your life, think again. It’s everywhere. At work, in school, raising kids, at the pub, at the game, in the supermarket, and, yes, at church.
