Some facts about Biden, Trump records

In his Jan. 18 letter, (“Joe Biden’s legacy: A record of failures”), Bob Lindinger offered a slew of opinions, but no evidence to support them.

Given The Gazette’s word limitations, I can only address a few of his topics, but I will do so with data. Facts.

Inflation? Presidents cannot control inflation completely; they can only attempt to influence/moderate some of the contributing factors through policy.

Overall, inflation under Donald Trump was 1.9% ; under Biden it was 5.2%.

However, the covid pandemic (obviously something unpredictable and uncontrollable) contributed mightily to this.
