Time to raise federal minimum wage

The federal minimum wage is still $7.25 per hour, since 2009. I think the pay needs to go up. It is overdue. There is no need for it to stay at $7.25 and it is time for the pay raise to go up.

Prices on everything don’t stay the same, and with everything there needs to be an increase.

The federal minimum is now 16 years old and is overdue for a raise.

Seeking answers for re-election of Trump

What will historians write about this electoral revolution when many Americans voted to end democracy by voting for a “strong man” president who promised to take dictatorial power?

I’m at a loss for a good explanation.

We are the richest country in the world, with high employment rates. Republicans, in general, fare better financially than Democrats.

There is good reason for most Americans to be angry with the inequity here, where the top 1% have more wealth than the entire middle class.

But anger at economic inequity doesn’t explain why people voted for a billionaire who surrounds himself with billionaires.

Many Americans were angry with President Biden for his ineffectiveness at halting the bloodbath in Gaza. But I doubt........
