Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass (D) is coming under criticism for being on a trip out of the country as wildfires rip through parts of the Southern California city.

President-elect Trump adviser Richard Grenell ripped Bass for being “in Africa while our city is literally burning to the ground.” RNC Research, an X account managed by Trump’s team and the Republican National Committee, also called out the mayor’s absence.

Tech mogul Elon Musk piled on, calling Bass “utterly incompetent," and Rick Caruso, a real estate developer........
