UFC boss Dana White on another White House event: ‘Never again’

Don’t expect another mixed martial arts fight on the White House lawn anytime soon.

UFC President Dana White ruled out the possibility of ever hosting another event like Sunday’s “UFC Freedom 250,” citing high cost and logistical hassles.

“It was an amazing experience; this was a one-of-one,” White said, according to the Associated Press. “It will never happen again.”

Sunday night’s event, which coincided with President Trump’s 80th birthday and a slate of “America 250” events set for this summer, combined sports and politics in a way never seen at the White House before.
