Journalist Jennifer Rubin has resigned from her position as a columnist at The Washington Post amid a period of internal strife at the outlet to begin the new year.

Rubin, who has been a columnist at the Post for years, is starting a new media venture with attorney and pundit Norm Eisen, she said on Monday.
