For most of his life, Mark Zuckerberg was nerdy and pasty and nebbish: the classic computer geek who mostly spends his days and nights behind a glowing screen.

But, in recent years, Zuckerberg has changed quite a bit, and since embracing physical violence — i.e., mixed martial arts (MMA) — the Facebook founder has seemingly embraced libertarian ideas, all while becoming cooler. (He might have always been somewhat libertarian ideologically, he’s just more openly so.) He wears chains and necklaces and grows out his hair so he no longer looks like a cyborg dork. He maintains an intense training program in jiu-jitsu and MMA and has even suffered some gnarly wounds during sparring sessions.
