The U.S. military pulls off an Easter miracle, violent juveniles run rampant in the nation’s capital, Trump endorses in the California governor’s race, and more. 

Just eight minutes after midnight on Easter Sunday, President Donald Trump delivered a message to America: 

The second crew member on the F-15 fighter jet that was shot down over Iran last week was recovered “safe and sound.” 

Early reports on the rescue mission to save the weapons systems officer from the Iranian mountains sound like something out of a movie. 

The colonel was reportedly wounded after ejecting from the downed jet but was able to make contact with the U.S. His first words were, “God is good.” 

The CIA bought time by launching a deception campaign, ensuring Iran was fed false intel that the U.S. had already found him and was preparing extrication. 

Once the CIA got his location, they shared that information with the Pentagon, the White House, and the U.S. military. 

The colonel had evaded capture by Iranian forces for more than a day, hiking more than a mile up a ridgeline and eventually hiding in a mountain crevice. 

Then it was U.S. special forces’ turn. With the aid of heavy cover fire, the extraction team was able to successfully move to the colonel’s location and safely get him out of the........
