Swindon Town’s defensive record could see them come undone
Swindon Town have had an excellent start to the 2025/26 season, scoring the most out of any EFL club, but they have also conceded a number a goals. Could this be their downfall?
Ian Holloway’s attacking style of football has energised fans and shot Swindon to the top of League Two after eight games, scoring 17 goals with 11 different scorers.
The Robins have, however, conceded 10, raising the question: where will they be if the scoring dries up, and could it undermine a great chance at promotion?
The standout scorer for Holloway’s side this season so far has been Aaron Drinan, who has scored six from eight in the league so far.
