A Gwent author has released a new book inspiring children to embrace their differences.

Gavin Clifton, of Pentwynmawr, near Newbridge, who has cerebral palsy and a severe speech impairment, has published his third children's book, Anya and the Enchanted Wheelchair.

The adventure fantasy book is the first in his new series and centres around a young girl and her enchanted wheelchair.

Young protagonist, Anya, discovers courage she never knew she had after finding an ancient pendant given to her by her dad.

Anya's bravery is tested........
